This list minimizes the risks of performing a certain acquisition or task without properly checking all the items necessary for the plan to be executed accurately.
For service providers as a carrier, one way to serve the customer safely is to work with a checklist at every step.

We list the main checklists used by TRANS REID. We believe that due to the success of the results of our operational indicators, which measures fleet maintenance, release of equipment and resources for transportation of chemicals and implementation of new contracts have a negligible number of occurrences is due to the use of checklists.

Vehicle Inspection Sheet

In order to perform preventive maintenance of the fleet, daily, the operational team validates items inspected in the vehicles. In this document we validate items such as motor, electric, mechanical, safety, body, complements and vehicle documents. Once a week the vehicle has the validation of the checklist information, attested by the fleet maintenance team through the “black ball”, where a driver and an operator check all of these items. This procedure has proved to be highly effective, since the measure presented in our indicators shows that we seldom perform corrective maintenance in the fleet, and this result is our major objective. It may seem insignificant, but failing to perform corrective maintenance allows us to schedule truck stops without hampering scheduling of deliveries and prevents the truck from breaking down with customers loading unnecessary delays.

Prospect profile

When prospecting a new client, we do a specific checklist for new contracts. In it, we validate all the necessary items to attend the company. Knowing with propriety all the details of the product, better transport equipment, routes, time of service, kilometers traveled, main customers and form of service makes all the difference. This document assists us in introducing new customers to the operational team and also to guide the field team on the key challenges and how to proceed with each delivery.

EPIS Inspection Record

Serving the chemical industry requires well-implemented processes and procedures. Any and all negligence in the movement of dangerous products puts people and the environment at risk. To ensure safe care, we use a checklist to inspect from identification of the safety signs, EPIS, documents and vehicle and staff signage items. We use the inspection checklist prior to each chemical shipment and make this document available to our customers. This procedure guarantees us safety, agility and guarantee of the delivery in the destination with quality.
