In order to transport dangerous products controlled by the Civil and Federal Police and the Army, it is required, in addition to all legal security determinations, the size of the licenses. We describe a little of what each license is about and what each agency controls and supervises.

Civil Police License: It is a compulsory license to control the transportation of toxic products. It supervises the import, export, trade, traffic or use of explosive, flammable, weapons, ammunition and aggressive or corrosive chemicals.

Federal Police: Compulsory license, the responsibility of the Federal Police is to prevent the production of narcotics, especially cocaine paste. There are 141 controlled products among them: acetone, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, iodine, acetic anhydride, methylene chloride, chloroform, ethyl ether, methyl ethyl ketone, potassium permanganate, toluene, etc .;

Army: Controls the areas of Industrial Mobilization, War Material and Homeland Security; controlling the industries that make use of such products in their manufacturing process. Controls more than 400 chemicals, among these products are: nitric acid, aluminum powder, potassium cyanide, potassium chlorate, sodium nitrate, triethanolamine among others.
It is required the IBAMA, Licenses of the Municipal and State Environmental Organs of Sanitary Surveillance.

ABQUIM (Brazilian Chemical Industry Association) issues a certificate named SASSMAQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Assessment System) for carriers that comply with all safety requirements. For the issuance of this certificate, a regulatory body is required, approved by ABQUIM to audit and validate all processes and procedures for the transportation of dangerous products.

IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of the Environment): It is responsible for the preservation and maintenance of the environment.

LETPP (Special Dangerous Goods Transit License): Requirement of São Paulo City Hall. All dangerous products that circulate within the municipality of São Paulo need the LETPP.

PAE (Emergency Service Plan): Emergency care plan and the hiring of a company specialized in risk containment.
