In 2018, we created a public relations area in TRANS REID with the objective of working on issues related to the quality of life of our employees. Much has been said about how to contribute to promoting the quality of life within TRANS REID, and it has been very challenging to find ways to enter activities at work that would arouse the interest of the majority.
Of course, the quality of life at work is not only related to the company. In the same way that the work environment interferes with the life of the employee, his behavior and the external influences he brings to work interfere greatly in productivity and efficiency in the company.
We believe that a Team in balance is more productive, deals more efficiently with the challenges of everyday life and works more motivated. But what could a company offer to achieve those goals?
Our challenge was to find something that was of interest to all or most of our employees, in order to achieve the dreamed quality of life at work. Amongst many suggestions, came the idea of yoga, massage and meditation classes. Most of the collaborators had never practiced, but they had an idea of what it was, others even imagined what it was, but they came to participate in the experience.
Since September 2018 we have regular Yoga practice, Thai Yoga massage and a few minutes of meditation during practice. These moments are very expected and the participation of the majority is assiduous and the climate of the company has been changing considerably for the practitioners.
Today, our goal is quite bold, we dream of bringing more and more activities and practices that encourage our employees to seek self-knowledge. We invest in the human development of people, who as a company cherish social responsibility and do our part by offering people the means to lead a healthier and more cheerful life. May this dream inspire other companies to take a walk in the yard, just as we have been dreaming in the near future to be the change we want to see in the world.
