Small or large social actions, which one will you join in 2019?
We no longer have room to choose not to help, to make excuses, to omit ourselves or simply to ignore. The turning point is to make good choices, to choose how important your social action will be in 2019. As a company, we selected some ideas to share in our Blog, our purpose is that this little action can awaken something in you, that this awakening brings more accomplishments and joys for your life.
1) Initiate the selective collection of disposables in the company, take care of the environment and educate employees to become multipliers at home and in society.
2) Activities for employees who encourage health care. Here at TRANS REID, once a week we do yoga during work hours. With just 1 hour of practice, we bet on greater productivity and awareness of the importance of caring for the body and mind.
3) Set up a fundraiser and run campaigns to collect books, set up a library in an orphanage, daycare or asylum.
4) Telling story, reading books for children in shelters, seniors in nursing homes. Learn to tell story and be a storyteller for the purpose of bringing knowledge, fantasy and joy to each other.
5) Make sweat campaigns, basics, cleaning supplies, diapers often. Make an agenda with collection period and donation.
6) Collect water, socks, undergarments and donate to homeless people. These items are the ones they most need and never earn.
7) Organize a book club in your company, invite groups of 3 to 6 people to read a chapter per week of some book that can contribute to personal development and discuss in a 1 hour a week meeting.
8) Adopt some social project and dedicate to it. Be an active volunteer in activities that can contribute to the improvement of society.
9) Develop some talk about personal development and talk to children and teenagers in shelters.
10) Work as a volunteer as a fundraiser for charities.
Among so many other ways of contributing, these are just a few possible ideas to be applied within companies, regardless of the size of companies.
